Hope Pantry is a community store located at Hope Church Sunningdale. This project is headed up by Hope Church and is supported by donations from local stores, schools, and members of the community. We operate on a donation and distribution system and welcome donations of food items or other essential supplies to keep the pantry stocked. Likewise, those in need are welcome to visit the pantry during our operating hours to collect items for a small charge of £5 every week, for this we anticipate you will be able to select around £25-£30 worth of goods.
The purpose of the pantry is to care for those in the local community who need a bit of extra support. We aim to provide nutritious food, including store cupboard and frozen items as well as some cleaning and hygiene products. The pantry works on a referral basis with a focus on ensuring equitable access for those most in need. Referrals can be made by SHARE Sunningdale, Hope Church Sunningdale, Charters School or St Michael’s School. In order to gain access to Hope Pantry you would need to prove your level of need and be willing to discuss your circumstances with SHARE Sunningdale site lead.
